SUMMARY:SPE Case Western Reserve University Student Chapter Event - Presentation and Dinner
DESCRIPTION:SPE Case Western Reserve University Student Chapter Presents\nDinner and a Presentation on\nREADY TO INVEST BUT NOT SURE WHAT COMES FIRST?\nCOME LEARN THE BASICS FOR A STARTER PORTFOLIO!\n  \n  \nDwight David Morgan began his career in polymers with M.A. Hanna Company\, a predecessor to Avient Corporation\, where he held a succession of corporate development and general management roles. In 1998\, he formed Accel Color Corporation\, a custom-formulated colorants producer\, which he grew to four facilities and over 120 employees. When Accel Color was sold to Techmer PM in 2008\, Dwight continued to run the company and served on Techmer’s senior leadership team. In 2013\, he joined The Composites Group\, a maker of thermoset compounds\, as vice president of sales and marketing\, where he participated in integrating three acquisitions and prepared the business for its eventual merger with Citadel Plastics in 2014. He then joined global resin producer M. Holland Company as Executive Vice President\, where he oversaw strategy and corporate development and managed the company’s international operations. Dwight holds a bachelor’s degree from the Kent State University School of Journalism and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law. Since retiring in 2024\, Dwight has devoted much of his time to wealth management education\, publishing a weekly newsletter\, hosting biweekly investing calls\, and holding investing seminars for businesses and organizations.
