NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) leads numerous high-performance plastics research and development efforts with the goal of achieving a sustainable human presence in space and developing the US aerospace sector. This presentation will discuss some historical efforts in plastics R&D and their high-level results, ongoing work, as well as upcoming technical challenges in plastic materials. An overview of how interested industrial and academic partners can pursue collaborations with NASA will be presented.
